Best practice for Botox® treatment requires a follow-up visit within 2 weeks of the initial treatment. This allows us to make sure that the response to the treatment is even and gives us the opportunity to address any concerns that may have arisen.
Once the initial Botox® has settled you may not be 100% happy with the result, in which case we would need to make some adjustments or tweaks. This should be done 2 weeks after the initial treatment. Adjustments are usually only needed if it is a first-time treatment or new area as we must determine the correct number of units. A follow-up appointment lets us determine if this is necessary.
